Leeds Leads Against Antisemitism Joins the Global Coalition Exposing the "Gaza GenoLIE"

LLAA is proud to join the global campaign together with 50 other organisations from around the world to expose and dismantle the “Gaza Genocide” lie.

The Gaza GenoLIE initiative addresses how the false claims of genocide against Israel were generated and orchestrated by Hamas and its supporters to justify attacks on Jews worldwide and delegitimise the State of Israel.

Beginning prior to Israel's military response following the October 7^th massacres, this coordinated libel campaign has relied on distorted legal definitions, manipulated media narratives, and weaponised disinformation.

The initiative’s website – GazaGenoLIE.com - breaks down the 8 primary pieces of the GenoLIE puzzle, providing evidence-based analysis on how these claims were generated and amplified across international media and public institutions. 

The Gaza GenoLIE puzzle pieces are:

1. Genocide claims began a day after the Oct. 7 massacre, before Israel responded to the attacks 
2. The legal framework of the term “genocide” was widely distorted and manipulated
3. Israel’s war was against Hamas - not the Palestinians
4. The genocide accusation is a new antisemitic blood libel against all Jews
